Installationshinweis: BricsCAD Communicator
- Unpack the provided Communicator archive to the destination of choice, this becomes the Communicator root folder.
Nested inside the Communicator root folder, note the path <Communicator root folder>/macos_b64/code/bin,
which is the Communicator binary folder.
- Save a copy of "/Applications/BricsCAD V16.app/Contents/MacOS/bricscad.sh" as backup.
(The path may differ if you have moved or renamed BricsCAD.)
- In bricscad.sh, append the Communicator binary folder to the library search paths.
That is, modify bricscad.sh by replacing the lines:
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$AppDir:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:<Communicator binary folder>
export DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH=$AppDir:$DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH:<Communicator binary folder>
replace "<Communicator binary folder>" with the full path of the Communicator binary folder, ending on macos_b64/code/bin.
(You can obtain a literal full path in a terminal by using the command "pwd".)
Note that normally you need superuser rights to edit bricscad.sh (e.g. sudo nano "/Applications/BricsCAD V16.app/Contents/MacOS/bricscad.sh" in a terminal).
- in BricsCAD, change the setting variable CommunicatorPath to the directory <Communicator root folder>.
